Founded in 2020 after founder Janey Hawley’s full-time job fell victim to the pandemic-related recession, Fat Bird Marketing emerged as a beacon of innovation. Always the innovator, Janey quickly got to work creating her own marketing company to support several local businesses that remained open during challenging times.

From managing campaigns, emails, website enhancements, to event marketing and more – we've got a wide range of services to assist you. For over a decade, Janey has created all things branding and marketing for several high-end and large restaurant groups. She began her career in Oklahoma City as a Marketing Manager for a raw vegan restaurant concept. She later moved to California, where she perfected her sales skills as an event manager. Janey moved to Colorado in 2017 and has created content for several area clients. Her loyalty to customers and passion for their brands has built many lifelong partnerships and friendships. Janey’s love for her work comes from meeting and exceeding her client’s marketing and branding. She likes to ski, hike, run with her dogs, and watch all the good shows in her free time.

Lisa keeps Fat Bird running and ensures everything and everyone is functioning as they should. She has a passion for organizing and owns all things related to operations, office management, project management, and administration. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2011 with her degree in Business Management. Outside of office hours, she enjoys running, hiking, paddle boarding, as well as spending time with her husband and fur babies.

Andra is a blog writer and editor. She makes sure everything is spelled correctly and sounds flocking fabulous! She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2008 with her degree in Elementary Education. She still teaches 3rd grade in Oklahoma. When she is not blog writing, editing, or teaching, she enjoys playing board games, reading books, and spending time with her friends, husband, and two cats Pip and Dash.

Her patience, honesty, and loyalty helps foster lifelong relationships and fuels her desire to go above and beyond for each client. In 2017 she decided to call Colorado home with her husband and two furkids. She enjoys snowboarding, watching shows, knitting, family time, and playing Pokemon Go in her free time.
